REMINDER: PLEASE DROP STUDENTS OFF AT BACK ENTRANCE IN THE MORNING
Dropping students off at the Main Entrance creates a difficult and dangerous and situation as people often back out or try to go around vehicles that are standing in the loop.  Please continue to drop your students off at the back entrance by the locker rooms.  Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

Congratulations to Hayden O'Shaughnessy on winning the Margaretville Telephone Company Photo Contest!  Hayden's photo will be featured as the cover of the next MTC Telephone Book.  Hayden is seen here holding her winning entry with her Photo-Journalism teacher, Al Vigna, and MTC representative and RCS Alumni Kendra (Hinkley) Grocholl. Great job, Hayden! 
Parental Request for Elementary Student Assignments
The Board of Education has a policy in place allowing families to make teacher requests for the following school year.  
Election Day Chicken BBQ
The Class of 2018 is holding a Brooks BBQ Chicken Fundraiser on the night of the Annual Budget Vote on  May 16, 2017 starting at 3:00 PM and continuing until they are sold out.  Halves will be sold at $6.50, and sides will be available for an additional charge.  See any Junior Class member for tickets, or contact Tom Faraci or Lori Davie for more information. 
Congratulations to Our Scholar Athletes!
The following students were named as Scholar Athletes for the winter sports season: Erin Garza, Emma Hynes and Kaitlyn Balcom for Girls' Basketball; Anthony Perazone, Brendan Reidlinger and Kevin Hubbell for Boys' Basketball; Nick Vajtay for Boys' Skiing (and NYS Finalist); and Zoe' Mattice for Girls' Skiing.  A special thanks to our coaching staff and to our faculty for their academic reinforcement and encouragement.

SSBA Preliminary Investment Plan Available
The Smart Schools Bond Act (SSBA) was passed as part of the 2014-15 New York State budget and approved by voters in a statewide referendum held on Nov. 4, 2014.   New York State has allocated $310,268 to Roxbury CSD under the SSBA to finance educational techology and infrastructure improvements.
