The Board of Education believes that extra-curricular activities are an important component of the district’s educational program and encourages all students to participate. Extra-curricular activities are defined as any activity sponsored by the school community that does not bear academic credit. These include, but are not limited to: athletics, dramatic productions, Science Olympiad, honor society, student council and school dances.
However, the Board of Education believes that the primary responsibility of each student is to maintain passing grades in all subjects.
