| Congratulations to Senior High Chorus members Alisa, Jefferson, and Jon on their acceptances to the NYSSMA Zone 8 Area All-State Mixed Chorus. The acceptances were based on their very successful NYSSMA Solo Adjudications. The festival was held at SUCO in Oneonta November 16th and 17th. Great job! |

| Jonathan (Bass)
was chosen to participate in the
very select Senior High Jazz Choir.
Alexa (Clarinet), Kaitlin (Bass Clarinet) and Mickey (Trumpet) contributed their skills to the Senior High Band. Representing R.C.S. in the Junior High Festival Chorus (which included grades 7-9) were: Alexi; Kennedy; Angela; Kendal (Soprano), Katie F; Bailey; Jennifer (Alto), and John; Dakota; Christian (Baritone). Joseph (Alto Saxophone), Joshua and Desarie (Clarinet), Adam (Trumpet), and Elaine (Mallet Percussion) were accepted into the Elementary Band. Mr. Michael McAfee served as the County’s Chairperson for this organization. Our students all performed amazingly despite losing a day of rehearsal time! A large number of our students have begun to prepare NYSSMA adjudication solos and ensemble pieces. The Festival will be held May 16th and 17th at Norwich High School. All levels of instrumental and vocal performances will be adjudicated the same day. |
