Annual Budget Vote Tuesday, May 21st

RCS Designated a "No Place For Hate" School

BOB Team Brings Home the Trophy!
Congratulations to our 7th grade Battle of the Books(BOB)  team on their victory over the Cooperstown 8th grade team.  Way to go! 
Superintendent's Luncheon
Mr. O'Brien prepared Breakfast for Lunch for our 3rd quarter 7-12 grade students who made the Superintendent's List.  These students had an average of 95 or higher for the quarter.  Pictured are: Front Row - Naomi Wehmeir, Catherine Jankowski, Sophia Needham and Cristian Spariosu; Back Row - Anthony Perazone, Nick Vajtay, Brendan Reidlinger, Brett Morrison, and Mr. O'Brien.    
Mr. O'Brien Announces Retirement
Superintendent Tom O'Brien announces retirement after serving the District for more than seventeen years. In a letter to the Board of Education, Mr. O'Brien stated: "I am presenting to you official notice of my resignation for the purpose of retirement on January 2, 2020. After 17 ½ years, it is time for me to enter into a new chapter in my life and I will deeply miss walking the halls of the Roxbury Central School. I wish you and the larger school community the very best and you can turn to me at any time after my retirement if needed".
