It's almost time! We're so excited to greet our students tomorrow morning for the 1st day of school! Parents, please take a moment to complete any forms that were included in our September newsletter. The Student Handbook and Code of Conduct will be distributed as soon as we receive it from the printers. Also, our school calendars are being reprinted and will be distributed in a few weeks. For a quick glance of our school year, our 24-25 calendar is available on our website under "School" >"24-25 School Calendar" . Have a great first day of school!
The online apparel store is up and running again! This year, we have both RCS items AND items to celebrate our merged athletic teams! Please use this link:

TRANSPORTATION UPDATE
Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year! All bus runs remain the same as last year, with similar pick-up and drop-off times. New families will receive a call from the transportation department on 9/4 to share pick-up times.
This week we start soccer contests! Great job to our golf team for kicking off this past week! Here is the most updated practice schedule for the week!

Modified Boys Soccer will practice from 3:30-5:30 PM in Roxbury
Modified Girls Soccer will practice from 3:30-5:30 PM in Gilboa.
Transportation will be provided.

📢 Please take note: PreK and Kindergarten Orientation has changed from 9am to 8:30am on Wednesday, August 28th. Please bring any paperwork associated with registration and/or the nurse, if applicable. During our orientation time, you will be able to see your child's classroom space and meet the teacher, as well as practice riding the bus AND enjoy a snack from our cafeteria. If there are any food allergies, please let us know!

Ahoy, mateys! The RCS Summer Drama Club, made up of our summer CROP students, will be presenting "Pirates!", written by Joshua Mikel, on Thursday, August 1, 2024. There is no charge for the performance. Come on out for a fun show and to support our students!
A reminder that our free breakfast and lunch program has been extended to include July! All students attending summer programs can eat free of charge. See the attached menu for next week's offerings.
Greg Muehl will be offering review classes for any student who would like to re-take the Geometry regents which takes place on Tuesday, August 20th at 12 noon. The review classes will take place from 9:00 – 10:45 AM and his schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, July 17th through Friday, July 19th
Tuesday July 23rd through Friday, July 26th
Tuesday, July 30th through Friday, August 2nd
Tuesday, August 6th through Friday, August 9th

The Roxbury Board of Education will be holding public hearings on the RCS Code of Conduct and the RCS Building Level Emergency Plan on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 7:00 PM, followed by the regular July BOE Meeting.
