Thank you to everyone for supporting today's Lockout. We worked with the State Police and are able to confirm that there was no credibility to a rumor that was circulating around the building.
All after school activities will resume as normal.
We appreciate your support.
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
Out of an abundance of caution, there is a situation requiring the school to Lock Out. At this time, all outdoor activities are canceled along with the elementary assembly. Our regularly scheduled indoor activities will continue. We will keep you updated. Thank you.
Picture retakes is scheduled for Tuesday 11/21/23. The following message is from Up Country Photo:
“For a nominal $3.00 fee we will re-photograph your child for the same package as originally ordered, whatever the reason. Please return your portraits to the school with $3.00 retake written on the outside, along with name and grade. Enclose $3.00. Of course, if eyes were closed or there was a technical problem there is no charge for the retake.”
Please be advised that the NCOC campus was evacuated due to a propane smell. Emergency personnel checked out the scene. Students came back to RCS by bus and were evaluated by our nurse, Karen Hinkley. Since students followed protocol and left without their personal belongings, our transportation team is returning to BOCES to pick up their things with the students. If you have questions, please feel free to call.
