🎄✨ THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR POP-UP CHRISTMAS MARKET! ✨🎄

Our 6th graders, with festive help from 4th grade, worked hard to create handmade items for their pop-up Christmas market on Thursday.

The goal of the market was to practice interacting with the public, keeping records, and counting money. The products weren’t perfect, but the students were incredibly excited to share their creations — and your kindness meant the world to them.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported their learning and hard work! 🎁💛

The image is a bright, festive flyer with a green border promoting a school event called “Grinch Family Fun Night.” At the top, small red text says, “We would love for you to come to our 2nd Annual,” with a small graphic of the Grinch’s green hand holding a red ornament. Below that, large bold green and black text reads “GRINCH Family Fun Night.” Event details follow in black text: “On December 12th @ Roxbury Central School 5:30–7:30 PM.” Centered bold text announces that food and refreshments will be available for purchase, inviting families to “Come feast with the Grinch!” Menu items listed include roast beast (pulled pork), “Who Hash” (mac and cheese), hot dogs (called “Max’s Dogs”), and desserts. The lower half of the flyer features a large cartoon image of the Grinch carrying a decorated Christmas tree over his shoulder while walking. Around the image are playful red captions such as “Prizes & Fun” and “Crafts & Games!” At the very bottom, bright red text states: “All crafts and games are free!” Below that, in black text: “Please consider supporting the Class of 2030 with a donation!” The overall tone is cheerful, holiday-themed, and designed to attract families with children.

❄️ EARLY DISMISSAL ALERT! ❄️
Roxbury Central School will be tapping out early today at 12:30 PM, thanks to weather that’s flinging snow around like it’s auditioning for a winter action movie.

All after-school activities are cancelled, because even the gym looked outside and said, “Absolutely not.”

Head home, warm up, and dodge any overachieving snowdrifts on the way. 💙💛☃️

🎉 Congratulations to our GCR Varsity Girls Soccer, Varsity Boys Soccer, and Varsity Golf teams for being named NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete Teams! 🎉
To earn this honor, 75% of the team must hold a GPA of 90+ — and they delivered!

These athletes proved they can get it done both on their respective greens and in the classroom. 🏆📚
We’re so proud of you all. Outstanding accomplishment—keep up the great work!

A celebratory poster features the headline “CONGRATULATIONS! NYSPHSAA Fall Scholar Athlete Teams – GPA 90+” in large white lettering against a black background at the top. Below the heading, three team photos are arranged across the poster: Left: A girls’ varsity soccer team stands in front of a goal on a grassy field. The players wear matching dark uniforms and hold soccer balls, with coaches standing at each side. Right: A boys’ varsity soccer team stands together in front of another goal, also on a grassy field. They wear dark uniforms with numbers in gold. Bottom center: A smaller group photo shows the varsity golf team standing outdoors in front of a sign and landscaping. They are dressed casually or in school-related athletic clothing. A large, red “A+” graphic appears near the center, symbolizing academic achievement. Decorative illustrations of a soccer ball and a dimpled golf ball appear near the respective team labels: “Girls Varsity Soccer,” “Boys Varsity Soccer,” and “Varsity Golf.” A black-and-white diagonal stripe pattern decorates the bottom border of the poster. The overall design conveys school pride and recognition of high academic performance among fall sports teams.
