This is a reminder that tomorrow, Friday October 13th, the Class of 2026 will host a haunted house fundraiser at Roxbury Central School. The event begins at 6 PM. Admission is $10 per family and $5 for individuals, and families are welcome to attend. There will be games, arts and crafts, and a movie, as well as food items and other crafts available for purchase. And once again, the costume swap will be set up. The family event ends at 8 PM. Students in grades 7-12 are then permitted to stay from 8-10 PM for a movie night. This part of the event is for students only. ALL students wishing to attend MUST have a permission slip signed. All students must leave the building by 10 PM. Please make sure you have made arrangements for your child to be picked up no later than 10 PM. Please come support the Class of 2026 and have a spookily good time! We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Please note some important changes to the haunted house at RCS this Friday! The later showing will end at 10 PM- NOT 11 PM. All students must be picked or leave the building by 10:00 PM. Additionally, permission slips are required to view the later movie. These will be handed out during English classes. If a student leaves the building prior to 10 PM, he or she will not be permitted to re-enter. Finally, the costume swap will once again be set up, so feel free to bring in gently used items, pick something new to you, or do both! We hope to see you at the haunted house!

This is a reminder that parking is not allowed on school property during student pick up at the end of the day. Parking on either side of the driveway creates a very dangerous situation for students and staff members leaving at 3:00. If you pick up your student at 3:00, please park either across the street in the student parking lot, or on Route 30 in front of the Methodist Church. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Please be aware that there was a stranger on school property today. The principal was notified and the stranger was asked to leave and complied. Steve Williamson came to the school as well and talked with the individual making it clear that we do not allow strangers on school property. Thank you.

Please be advised that in the morning there is a lot of congestion in front of the school. If you pull up to the loop, it is important that you wait as students are unloading from buses which takes time. Cars should never back up out of the loop or the driveway as this is a true safety concern for students. If you do not have time to wait, please park in the lot across the street and wait for the crossing guard to safely cross your student. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Student safety is of utmost importance.
